Last night I was completely drained from the show I vended at all day – the Valentine Craftacular. It was a fantastic show and I’m sure many of you know how much energy they take from you! So, in lieu of my ‘Saturday Summary’ post I’m bringing you a ‘Sunday morning Summary.’ Tuesday was a good day for us. We took Pip in for her 9 month well baby check up. She weighed in at 19lbs 7oz and was 28-inches long and is healthy! She just had one shot to get and she did a really good job. It did help that her big sisters were there to clap for her. That night we took Diane out to celebrate her 60th birthday. We went to Market Street Diner; Tuesday’s – kids eat free AND you get a really nice sized, delicious birthday cake free on your birthday. Then we stopped at McGovern’s for a beer which happens to be the same place Frank and Diane met. The girls had a great time and so did Diane. On Wednesday, while Pip was napping and Capri and I were waiting for Cedi to get home from school, we decided to make some earrings. I made some up for the Craftacular yesterday and Capri designer her very first pair (shown above)! They are full of bling but pretty fabulous! Cedi seems to be my fabric girl and Capri couldn’t be happier then when she gets to sort through a pile of beads. before Thursday was a big day for Cedi. She let me take her to get her locks cut off. Her hair wasn’t super long in the first place, but after looking back to pictures of her with short I couldn’t help but wish she would let me cut it. She finally agreed and she LOVES it! (as do I). She told me when it was done that she “hopes her hair NEVER grows again!”. After I spent most of Thursday and Friday getting prepped for the Craftacular I was vending at (with a small break on Thursday to go to a very informative Columbus Chamber of Commerce Meeting). I was up early on Saturday morning to head to Madison for the Craftacular. I tend to fit A LOT in my booth. Here’s an instagr.am picture of a few of my quilts and some of my earrings. It was a great sale for February and it is always great to see my crafty friends and meet some new ones (like Cheryl of Totally Wired)! Here’s a picture I snapped of the delicious cupcakes from Sugarbomb Dessert Company. I had to bring the candy filled, sucker topped ones to my daughters and they were in HEAVEN! (Jared got chocolate – also in heaven!) AND – I had to share this with you! Jean’s Clay Studio makes TONS of fantastic mugs, plates, bowls but these particular ones are decorated with all types of sewing designs from thread, thimbles, tape measures, scissors and machines! I am now a proud owner of one of her sewing bowls and two of her mugs – one with the sewing machine love and one with the thread and scissors! SO in LOVE with them! That pretty much sums up my week – stop by in a few more hours to see the next Project QUILTING Challenge – it’s coming at noon!
