After months of working on this quilt – my Patchwork Solids Sampler quilt is finally finished! Thanks to Patchwork Squared for moderating this quilt along. I don’t think I ever would have made an all ‘solids’ quilt without this little nudge and now I can say I’ll probably be making many more in the future! I know it may seem a bit weird that I ‘mosaiced’ the quilt blocks separately but I really want to give you guys a better view of the quilting (some pictures are bit blurry…I really need some sun and NO wind so I can get some decent photo’s taken). Barb Raisbeck of QuiltsbyBarb truly did an amazing job with the quilting on this piece. Each block is a different pattern and it’s the perfect pattern for each particular block. I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I created labels in spoonflower for my quilts! I like this one especially because I pieced it right into the back – it’s never going anywhere… The back is pieced with the ‘leftover’ solids from the quilt front. I love how you can really see the quilting on the back as well too.

Turned out beautifully!!! I really do dig the solid patchwork concept – it really does make the quilting itself pop! Awesome job!! 🙂
