God Bless You Persimoni Mae

June 17, 2011 by persimondreams 5 Comments

001Last Saturday, June 11th, Persimoni Mae was baptized. It was a lovely day that I would have enjoyed a tad more if I didn’t have a stomach bug. Here are a few pictures from then. 004 Kim, Jared’s cousin, is Pip’s godmother and her husband Lee is her godfather.013 Pip did really good for the ceremony – she didn’t cry at all when water was poured on her head. Her baptismal gown was made by my mother-in-law, Diane, from my wedding dress. All my girls were baptized in it and I hope they choose to use it for their children.025 The godparents, Kim & Lee, and Persimoni.027Our little family. 030 Great Grandma with Pip. We took her out of the gown fairly quickly once things concluded – the only bad thing about it is that it’s slippery!

    Congratulations Pip!

Love the baptismal gown (and story behind it)!
