It’s now time to announce the winners of the random drawing for the yard of hand-dyed fabric and a pdf pattern for this beautiful quilt by FabricsAndQuilts: http://www.etsy.com/listing/47561057/boutique-red-blue-wheelchair-lap-quilt. So, after my crazy good sale with a terrible ending (I’ll write about it later…) I wrote everyone’s name but the winner (congrats again LoveBugStudio!) down on slips of paper. Quick tried the hat on and snapped a picture… Then took the hat off and put the slips of paper in the hat… Handed the hat to Papa so I could take the pictures (I interrupted bedtime snack (ice cream) to do this…)…Cedi decided that she wanted to draw for the yard of hand-dyed fabric…and the winner is…………………………………QUILTIES! So, by default, Capri was drawing for the Pattern from FabricsNQuilts.and the winner is…. Kathleen’s Quilts! Congrats to you both and thanks for participating! Wait! There’s still one more prize! I have to go to random.org and have it generate my prize winner for the $20 gift certificate to theApple! We had 65 comments so that’s what I put into the generator… which is… 45. Raige Creations said… just voted – it was tough again this week! Love Bug always has wonderfully creative things to share, but I had to vote for the skirt. Something completely different, and great for a road trip! It looks so comfy. June 1, 2010 12:04 PM Congrats to Raige Creations! (so, I had to copy and paste all the comments into word and then go through and number to find the winner…does anyone know how to format their comments so there are numbers on them already? Thanks!) Don’t forget everyone! The next challenge goes up TOMORROW at NOON CDT! Tell you friends…

Kim – I love your story and photos every step of the way. I told all my students the last two days at the Quilt and Sewing Expo in Platteville, WI about Project Quilting and really encouraged them to participate. I am anxious to see if any do. It was a wonderful Expo. Hats off to Jessie Killian to bringing this Expo back!
