Egg Dyeing

Since I’ve gotten so far behind on all my other posts I decided to bump this ahead of a few others – the fun we had dyeing eggs this past Saturday! All set up and ready to go.  As per usual, my mother was there to help.  It’s always nice to have a second set of adult hands to help control the chaos.  My mom broguht some eggs she had boiled and I had a dozen that I had boiled the night before from our chickens.  Capri had a great time dyeing eggs – she had a bit of a challenge figuring out the whole concept of ‘gently’ putting the egg into the cup of dye.       Cedi did a great job with the entire process! We did a combination of sponge painting dyeing (a kit my mom brought) and dip and soak dyeing.  I think the effect was fabulous!
