The girls came home from Nichole’s graduation party with two helium balloons – seriously the best party favor a 3 year old and almost 2 year old could get. They had so much fun playing with the balloon until they decided to argue over who got the pinkish/red one. They pulled and pulled on the string until it broke and up, up went the balloon to literally the highest point in our ceiling. It was unreachable.
Capri was quite upset – “Baoon! Baoon! DOWN!”
Cedi calmly told me, “We just need a monkey to climb up there and get it. We’ll leave the door open and then a monkey will come in and climb up to get the balloon for me.” A few minutes later she said, “Or we could leave the door open so a really tall monster could come in and get the balloon.” The balloon is still up there…no monkey’s or really tall monsters have entered our house yet… Side note: The really adorable skirt on Cedi is the one I won from GocksFrocks Etteam Blog giveaway…so cute!
