Have an OWL of a Time at the Valentine’s Day Craftacular!

February 10, 2010 by persimondreams 1 Comment

This Saturday I will be selling goodies from both Kim’s Crafty Apple and the Apple at the Valentine’s Craftacular.  The Craftacular will be at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI, 701 East Washington, Madison, WI, from 10-4 on Saturday, February 13th. Not only will I have many of the things you see in my etsy shops, but I also have a new addition…my stuffed owls!  059  Angel the ‘Patchwork’ Owl053  Kaffe the Patchwork Owl055 Ariel the Patchwork Owl – both front and back view…056 All of the Patchwork Owl’s were created using ‘orphan’ blocks from quilts that were either made and had some leftovers or quilts that were started but the blocks just weren’t fitting with the others.  A great way to use every part of a quilt.  057Abe, the Patchwork Owl054 Spot the Owl058 Cupid008 Valentine (they are twins with the same name…)003 To create these owls I started with an original pattern from monkeytreecreations.  True to my personal nature I tweeked the pattern a bit, received her permission to sell my owls, and here we are! You can expect to see some owl additions in my shop either after the sale or a few weeks later…
