The Story Teller

   A few weeks ago, just before Christmas the Poynette Public Library had a special event for the little ones – a storyteller came!  Cedi was so excited she even let me put her coat on without a fuss and we braved the bitter cold temperatures and headed over to the library. We were joined by a few other mom’s and kids to hear Sara Slayton’s stories.  A daycare was supposed to arrive to but fifteen minutes after it was scheduled to begin, they decided to start without them.      My kids definitely were intrigued. Adults were there to enjoy the story telling as well. The daycare did finally arrive and the kids were able to enjoy a few stories as well.     WOW!  Even Capri was paying attention. Let’s not forget the free coffee, chocolate milk and cookies for after the stories! I can’t wait for story time to start up again on January 19th!
