A trip up Nort' to Fence, Wisconsin

July 6, 2009 by persimondreams 1 Comment

I have to start out this post by apologizing. I am no good at choosing which pictures deserve to be displayed more than an another…I always think they’re all great…which is why I don’t scrap book…no room for any cute things since I feel like I must include EVERY picture. Anyway, considering I took almost a 100 pictures this past weekend up North, only showing you 18 isn’t too bad…

On the way to my parent’s cottage we took a pit stop to see a friend of mine from collage at a camp he’s working at this summer…so mad that I didn’t take any pictures! It was great to see you Luke!

Capri and Cedi decided to hold hands at the beginning of the trip. Oh, and I also have to apologize because these pictures will NOT be in chronological order…I’m too tired right now… I think the highlight of the fourth for Capri was her fun straw…the fireworks might have taken a distant second 🙂

Cedi looking at the lake…wishing she was swimming in it…

Cedi and Willow – the Meeuwsen Families Great Dane puppy! She surprised me by how calm and quite she was.

Capri and Willow…Willow TOWERED over her 🙂

Capri and Cedi sporting some hand-dyed dresses I made for them.

Molly’s pulling Cedi in a wagon!

Capri is pushing Cedi…something is wrong here…

Capri enjoying the teeter totter by herself…

Capri and Cedi sharing a chair in the water…so cute!

Cedi and I floating on her dolphin from Grandma and Grandpa Van…the highlight for me…I love the water!

How sweet…Papa and Cedi go swimming.

Capri entertaining herself…

Cedi moving her dolphin.

Cedi ate almost an entire quarter pound cheeseburger…here she is trying to finish it off but she’s so full she won’t even hold it anymore…just eating it right off the towel…

Cedi has her first S’More!

Capri and Papa at the beach.

So, those were probably the highlighted pictures of our trip. We had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Van’s cottage. The girls loved playing at the beach. Cedi enjoyed her special trip to The Scoop for some ice cream. We had a fun time with family friend at the fish fry on Saturday night and Lake Hilbert had a great firework show as well!

And last, but not least, Cedi went diaper-less and accident-less for both of the 4 hour car rides up and back to the cottage! (we did at one point run into a bar and ask to use the ‘potty’…got a couple of wierd looks but no wet pants!)
