Well, I am happy to let everyone know that my family is on the road to recovery. Cedi’s taking a little longer than the rest of us but I’m sure she’ll be there all of a sudden. I’m still trying to gain some energy back, but I’m sure I just need to feel a bit more motivated and that will come too.
We had my husband’s family over (about 20 people) yesterday for Christmas and I think it was quite successful. Luckily, months ago, I had decided that I was going to serve chili for dinner. Considering the preceding week, it was the best decision EVER! The chili was super easy to make, serve and clean up. It sounded like everyone enjoyed it. Our gift exchange went really well and the kids all had a good time.
