We’re nearing the end of Project QUILTING … the fifth challenge will be posted tomorrow, March 4th, at noon CST right here on my blog. But no worries – the inspiration of the challenges is not waning … it’s just getting better and better! And if you haven’t joined in yet … you still can! These challenges are open to ALL regardless if you start with the first or fifth challenge. Each challenge week we have an ultimate weekly sponsor. That particular sponsor is donating a prize that is valued at $50 or more! Everyone who enters per the guidelines of the Project QUILTING 9.5 challenge (posted on Sunday, March 4th at Noon, CST) will have their names put in a hat. My girls will randomly draw the winners once the challenge and voting closes. The first name they draw will be the winner of the fabulous Ultimate Weekly Prize from Perkins Dry Goods! I was lucky enough to meet Celine Perkins, owner of Perkins Dry Goods, last fall at my apple orchard. She and her husband stopped by and checked the orchard out. It’s always so wonderful to meet your online friends in real life! Celine has an amazing bundle of prizes for one lucky winner. It includes:
- A copy of my newly released block of the month / anytime project pattern, Liberty for All. ($25)
- My Perfect Piecing Seam Guide ($6)
- My Corner Cutter Tool for making No Waste Flying Geese ($8)
- Three pack of Corner Cutter Friendly mini patterns ($18) – Camelot, Bejeweled, Medallion Star
If you’re sewing along with me on my Dresden Neighborhood SAL you have probably realized just how important that quarter inch seam is when sewing all the house plates together. If you’re off … it’s much harder to get your neighborhood to lay flat. Celine’s Perfect Piecing Seam Guide will help you immensely with that and any other accurate piecing you’d like to do! You may not even realize just how off your machine/needle is! Do you love making flying geese but hate all the waste and time they take? Perkin’s Dry Goods’ Corner Cutter helps you make Four Flying Geese at one time with no waste! I need to try this! Celine Perkins has a great facebook group where you can share the quilts you’re working on, ask questions and help build up a great, supportive quilting community around yourself. Be sure to ask to join today – Perkins Dry Goods with Celine. Feel free to stop by Perkins Dry Goods on facebook, instagram and/or pinterest to say hi and thank you for being a fabulous supporter of Project QUILTING!
