So many companies and people have generously donated some amazing things for the Grand Prize package for Season 9 of Project QUILTING.  I’m going to go through all of the great prizes but please stop by frequently to see if the list is updated!  I’ll be taking prize donations all the way until the end of Season 9!

How do you win the grand prize?  Just participate in one or more Project QUILTING Challenges.  Each time you complete a challenge your name will be put in the hat for a chance to win the big haul!  If you complete all six of the challenges your name will be put in one extra time and help increase your chances of winning.

Aurifil

Aurifil will be giving the grand prize winner one of their big spool of thread boxes!  I’ll post a picture of the exact one once I know exactly which one is up for grabs!

$30 worth of PDF Patterns!
You’re going to have a hard time picking just $30 worth!  Amy’s patterns are fabulous and easy to follow! (I’ve made a few)!  My personal favorites (I limited myself to 5) would have to be Bushel Basket of Apples (I know – shocker!), Camper, Hexie Case, Little Lady, and Interlock Quilt Pattern.

Hunter’s Design Studio

Sam Hunter of Hunter’s Design Studio is generously giving our grand prize winner their very own copy of her Quilt Talk Book!  I have used the paper pieced letter patterns in this book on numerous occassions and for multiple Project QUILTING Challenges.  It is a great book to have in your quilting collection!

Jacquelynne Steves

Jacquelynne Steves has donated two beautiful digital Block of the Month patterns, with complete instructions and lots of diagrams! Fun for the beginning and more advanced quilter. Both patterns include option for applique, hand embroidery or just piecing.

Kid Giddy

Kerry Goulder of Kid Giddy is giving our lucky Grand Prize winner a PDF Pattern Bundle which includes the patterns for her Hot Skates, Queen Bee and Land of Magic Quilts!  These are all on my current “to do” list of quilts to make. 

Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting

For the Grand Prize, Marcia will be giving a“Quilting Gift Certificate” for $65.00 off the Quilting on a Lap size quilt or larger. ( Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting. The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends.  Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate.  The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.  Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize.

Modern STITCHING Affair

My good friends Wendy Franczak and Trina Peterson organize an incredible sewing retreat event right her in Madison, WI – the Modern Stitching Affair.  This year the Speaker and Demonstrators for the weekend include Tara Curtis of Wefty Needle and Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness!  It’s going to be an epic weekend!

Wefty Needle

Tara Curtis of Wefty Needle is also joining in on the prize giving fun!  The Grand Prize winner will add the EZMiter quilt as you go template and paper pattern to their collection of great tools!  I think I might have to get one of these before Project QUILTING get too far into Season 9.
