This is the second to last 30” #scrappycrownalong layout I’m going to share with you! Can you believe how close to the end we are!? I think my favorite thing about this quilt along so far is to play with all my scraps! It’s fun to pick out three random fabrics and put them together! Some of my crown of thorn blocks look better than others but they all have their place. And with each scrap of fabric the memory of the previous projects made have been brought back to me. My final quilt will be full of memories! Layout 11 To make this block – you need to make
- 4 – 10” Crown of Thorn Blocks
- 20 – 5” Crown of Thorn Blocks
Here’s what my Layout 11 #scrappycrownalong blocks look like. I only did one 5” crown of thorn. I supplemented with 10 half square triangle blocks, three 5 patch blocks, three nine patches, one crown block and two snowball blocks.
