It is once again super cold here. The temperature read –11 as I put the girls on the bus. I’m beyond happy that I don’t have to drive them to school! Today I’m going to share with you the seventh block layout for the #scrappycrownalong. 
To make this block – you need to make
- 8 – 10” Crown of Thorn Blocks
- 4 – 5” Crown of Thorn Blocks
Here are the first seven 30” block layouts in EQ7. 
This is my actual Block 7. Instead of making the center with four 5” Crown of Thorns blocks I used four of the five patch blocks as the center. It created a beautifully busy design! 
Here are my seven blocks laid out in my quilt so far! This is just so cool and I’m loving how the ‘other’ five inch block options are adding even more fun to the quilt! Layout 8 will be posted this Thursday. I love that I’m doing two layouts a week on the ‘off’ weeks of Project QUILTING. Do you realize by the end of March I’ll have a FINISHED king size quilt top full of all these fun #scrappycrownalong blocks!? This schedule is definitely keeping me on task!
