Here is the second quilt I am currently working on in my ‘nesting’ phase (the above picture is just a work-in-progress…it will change LOTS before it is finished). I saw it in the Sew Scrappy Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collection Magazine. The quilt is inspired by BLOCK PARTY from the designer JASON YENTER.
Block A
I am ‘tweaking’ it a bit. The first is I created three different ‘wonky block’ patterns. I am hoping I can get at least a total of 9 blocks.
Block B
I am using a Layer Cake from Robert Kaufman – Dill Blossom that I purchased from FabricFascination quite awhile back. I’m pretty sure this isn’t exactly how you’re supposed to use a layer cake but I love the variety of fabric it is giving me!
Block C
We’ll see though…I may have to go through my stash a bit and mix in some other fabrics to get the end size I want – but that would be fine too.
Block A
I’ll be sure to post more pictures as I progress! And…still time to VOTE for your favorite Project QUILTING challenge!

What a great way to use the dill blossom fabrics. You have been quilting up a storm!
