It’s time to start figuring out what your’e oging ot get for the special guys in your life! This is not always an easy task but when you do find just the right gift for him it’s so worth it!
Support Small Business
I also have some friends that run great little craft stores in Madison (the Glitter Workshop and Booth 121) and I know they’re open for limited numbers of shoppers. By visiting these shops I at least feel like I’m at a craft sale since they have such an awesome variety of items from so many small businesses. But if you can’t get to one of these shops – be sure to see what you can find online.
For the next few weeks I’m going to create some gift guides to help you figure out some fun, unique gift ideas for special people in your world. I pride myself each year in finding the “perfect” gifts for people. By perfect, I don’t mean expensive … I mean the gift a person didn’t realize they really wanted but once they see it realize it’s exactly what they really wanted.
That Guy Gift Guide
My husband is probably the hardest person for me to buy for. He’s a really practical guy who is happy when i get him a new case of soap. Trying to find that “special” gift that will make him realize that I have been paying attention and I do appreciate all that he’s done for me is something I strive for each holiday season. (I did manage one year when I got him a new chainsaw …) Below are some great ideas I found for the guys in my life.
Some links included are affiliate links and I will make a small percentage from any sales made.
WoodStuff11 has items that would be great for guys or girls in your life – just as long as they like cribbage or euchre! They have some really aweesome, unique cribbage boards and other card game accessories.
My guy works outside a lot! And his hands are rough!
How about another T-Shirt?
Sweeten him up!
I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with the gift of chocolate! Perhaps this incredible looking hot chocolate from Gail Ambrosius is just what you’re looking for? Pair it with a cool mug and you have a great gift for that guy in your life!
PS. Gail is my mom’s cousin which makes this chocolate even better!
I’m not a huge fan of giving gift cards but I feel like this year is a great time to give gift cards to your favorite local restuarant/bar. Let’s do what we can to help these businesses get through the winter months so we can keep visiting them once the weather changes and covid is under control.
Hopefully this post gives you a few ideas on what to get a that guy in your life! Let me know if there’s a specific group of people you need some ideas for and I’ll work on it for my next post! Stop by next Saturday for some more great gift giving ideas that will help you support a small business!
